Tor thinks for a moment. Maybe the trap is triggered by smell. Or the absence of it, he adds with a smirk. But Fauk's right. Once we get one of them to talk, we'll know. Should we make a lot of noise to get at least one of them to come looking?

Tor cautiously makes his way down the hallway toward the trap, encouraging others, especially The Slip, to investigate.

Tor nods at the gnome's report. Turning to the Slip, he says, "A trap, huh? Looks like we'll be needing your help here. Then, with a wink he adds, "We'll be right behind you."

Tor is ready to go!

Tor muses for a moment. "Normally, I work for coin. But gems will do."

OC: I guess Paul really didn't want us going back upstairs yet.

Tor will let someone more pleasant than himself do the talking.

Tor agrees with Bert. I hope the gnomes are all friends, he says. If not, the ones upstairs might get even grumpier. But we can fix that, he adds ominously. Barring any objections, Tor will lead the way back upstairs to the gnome gathering. Hmmm...I wonder if there's a unique noun for a group of gn...

Tor looks to Brother Bert and Fauk. Well, much as I don't want to, we probably should take these little runts with us. We don't want them getting eaten. We could bring them back upstairs.

Tor, clearly on the rebound after his engagement was cut short, tries to slice through a shrieker.

We also ran into a skeleton, or half-skeleton, rather, who kept going on and on about the stone Albrecht adds. I said a prayer to put him to rest.

Albrecht, having cleared his mind and said his prayers in the small chapel, is most interested in learning more about the temple. He intends to ask Sigfried about it when the party visits him later.
