I agree with Merias, WB FMAG is a great starting point for OSR gaming. I always enjoy tinkering with the rules and making my own houserules and FMAG is a good framework to do just that.

Fauk is also for getting some recovery time at the tavern.

I don't know if the Cairn boxed set will be in gaming stores, but I'm sure that pdfs will be available. Ring of Thieves is a solo risus starter adventure. It will help you get the feel of the rules. The thing I like about Mythic Bastionland is all the enhancements to combat. There are a ton of variations of knights in the game. This will be a great source for me in tweaking my Cairn games. And check Risus out and let me know what you think. It is deceptively simple but so much more than it look...
