Balthar is ready with sword and torch.

Balthar helps in the search of the room and bodies and will be ready to proceed after the group is rested.

Balthar suggests to the party that it might be a good idea to maybe find something to gather the oil for later use. He searches for an empty flask of some sort. He also asks if he can take one of the daggers for himself if agreeable to the party.

"I thank you kindly, Thorhall", says Balthar, for binding my wounds. That is a fine weapon for sure."


OCC: I assume Balthar is being given the axe to wield. Is it a one handed weapon? He is the torchbearer.

"Curse the gods!", yells Balthar, staggering back fighting the pain of the burns. He regains his composure and will follow his companions into the room if the flames allow.

"I could be wrong, but this might be a trap", whispers Balthar. He follows his companions with sword drawn.

Balthar too, sword drawn and torch raised.

"Indeed!", says Balthar as he removes a torch from his small pack.

Balthar whispers, my friends, might we be better off seeking cover in an underground passage contained within this tower if it exists?

OCC: is there a passage underground with the tower?

Balthar catches the pendant, nods in agreement, and follows his companions.
