Call of the Xul: a Whitebox adventure [CLOSED]

Post by Wouter »

Image
In the woods near the village of Jodcar stand the crumbling remnants of stone walls. Amid the ivy-clad ruins, an oaken trapdoor gives access to a flight of stone stairs leading down under the earth. Once the lair of the hapless conjurer Kal-Dokk, it is currently occupied by strange monsters and two parties of brave and/or foolish men.
A simple and small adventure to get my feet wet in running a Swords & Wizardry Whitebox game, I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in playing. The adventure was written by Alan "ClawCarver" on the occasion of Swords & Wizardry Appreciation Day 2013, all credit for it goes out to him.

Alas, I am in too many games already, but this looks like fun. Hopefully you can get some players. It might be worth advertising it on the OD&D boards since it's White Box.

That's too bad! Good idea, I'll pitch it there :)

Great, welcome :) I'll be setting up the forum and as soon as we hit four players we can get started!

Well now. I felt I had to register for these boards (I've been lurking for a while) just to say I'm chuffed to bits that my "daft wee dungeon" is getting some love. Thanks! Obviously I can't play in it, but I hope you get a few more players and have some fun. I look forward to watching from the sidelines. Also, nice "ivy-clad ruins" photo. Good work.

Hey all - if you have been trying to post in the Xul sub-forum and were not able to, I have fixed that now, so give it another try and let me know of any issues.
