Awesome pic, I'll try to get my adventure finished this weekend. I play-tested it two weeks ago, I just have to finish up the map (I did it in text initially, so I'm hand-drawing it).
Re: The Wizard's Scroll Submission Thread
Very nice, indeed! I'm also working on a adventure: it's been playtested and I have the text done, just trying to figure out what works best for drawing the map...

I'm cool with hand drawn maps Wouter. If you like, you can send a rough map and I'll draw it Or see if I can get someone to draw it if needed.

Just perused through the pre-release of the first issue. It came out great! I can imagine having a whole shoebox full of these mags for reference in the future; so much good stuff!

Thanks Fox. Im glad you like it! Thank you so much for submitting.
Hopefully I can make a lot more! 3 of us from this board have articles. Hopefully next issue will have more.
Wouter, still send me what you have. I'll put it in issue 2.

Re: The Wizard's Scroll Submission Thread
Sorry for joining late - I just found this forum; being led here after purchasing the first Wizard's Scroll ezine from RPG Now. I love private press 'zines. I have a nice collection of old fan 'zines from back in the dark ages when they were printed on a hand-cranked mimeograph machine. I still collect old fan 'zines covering OD&D and AD&D 2E when I can find them.
I am a part-time freelance editor in the greater Seattle area. I have previously worked with White Silver, editing and contributing to the game rules, geography, adding a few magic items and monsters. I was one of the first play testers for White Silver. I was working on a city book when White Silver folded.
I have played OD&D and AD&D 2E (my favorite rules set), but have not played in years. I have written several adventures, and a few magazine articles all of which were rejected by either Dragon or Dungeon magazines back in the "if it wasn't thought of at T$R, we aren't interested" days.
If you are looking for submissions for the second Wizard's Scroll 'ezine - I might have a few things that I can dig out. All of my stuff (with the exception of material for White Silver) is easily portable into OSR. Most of my articles are rules neutral or rules light. I also happen to know several starving artists in the area whom I can probably coerce into submitting art work (one of them happens to be my youngest sister-in-law).

Re: The Wizard's Scroll Submission Thread
Welcome Steven!
I hope to do a second issue! I'm crossing my fingers it makes enough money to do that. If it doesn't, I may still be able to do it, but it will in no way reach the same level of quality as issue 1.
So yes, please send submissions for issue 2. I can convert the crunch to S&W, although it would be White Box specific, because that is what I'm familiar with.
Art is always welcome. I would enjoy showcasing new up and coming artists. The first issue has a new artist that has never published anything before; Duane Lacher.
