The woman looks suspiciously at Alexander and Milton. "Aye, Lord Dunsley lies within, but if you are not his guests, I fear for my life in speaking with you. Come ladies, let us leave for our own safety! You have treated us courtesly, far better than my current master, but we shall suffer if being seen speaking with you. It you value your own life, flee this very instant!"

And with that, the woman motions to the other woman and young girl and they move to leave the kitchen.

Milton smiles. It's good that they have made themselves scarce. Let's take care of Lord Dunsley.

Before heading back to the mansion, Alexander searches through the room. Is there anything of interest..?

The kitchen has the usual cooking tools and large kettles and such. A couple chickens are setting on the counter, half plucked. A porridge is bubbling in a kettle in the fireplace. Several clay pitchers hold fresh water, and some berries are in a wooden bowl.

Actions?

Alexander sneaks up to the door standing slightly ajar and tries to get a peek inside.

The door is open slightly. Peeking inside, Alexander can see a dark corridor ending in several doors.

Alexander beckons Milton and sneaks inside, listening intently at each of the three doors at the end of the hall.

Milton pads behind. Also checking each door for traps after listening.

The north door has the sound of heavy slumber, perhaps four or more men snoring loudly.

The south door is quiet as well as the west door.

Milton finds no sign of traps.

Alexander points at the north door and puts a finger to his lips: "Be very quiet, I think there are people asleep behind this door..." He then tries to open the west door.
