The door to the west opens with a slight noise. Within, Alexander can see a large, dimly lit, great room. Several revelers appear passed out and lying on the tables. A couple large, dark shapes lay on the floor. One raises its head. Alexander can see a large mastiff having awakened from his slumber. He lifts his head and sniffs the air...

Alexander pulls back his head and slowly closes the door, hoping that the dog will not be alarmed so that the revelers remain in their stupor...

The dog does not seem to notice Alexander as he gently closes the door.

Milton nods and then tries the south door.

Alexander gathers behind Milton, standing by to spring to action if needed.

Milton, the rana, opens the south door and spies a sleeping chamber. Two figures lie sleeping on bunks, heavy mail and shield lie stored at the foot of the beds. A figure sits at the side of another bed. In the dim light, Milton can see the man is sitting up, holding his head.

He turns and looks at Milton, "Shut the damn door!"

With cat-like reflexes, the figure throws a dagger at Milton!

It sticks in the door jamb with a sharp thunk!

What do you do?

Milton pulls the door closed! He whispers to Alexander: We can let these dogs lie in their slumber or we can end them and make the numbers more fair. What say you?

Alexander's mind races as he considers the options: "In every room there are people asleep: running amok in one of these rooms will surely alert the others... Perhaps we should look for another way in..?"

You hear the sounds of men being harshly awakened from the room you just left.

What do you do?

"We need to get out of here, fast!" Alexander hisses. "Let's head back to the building where the women and girl are and seek refuge there."
