Balthar carefully pokes at the rushes trying to figure out why the cultists would be weaving them.

Milton searches the room
Re: Chapter 7 -- In Search of a Book Seller
The cultists are all dressed alike, russet robes that look like dried blood. Each of them wears an unholy symbol about their neck. The symbol is a graven image of Heimos, god of destruction. The symbols are carved wood.
Rushes are strewn about the floor. They were gathering them up to to weave together. You can't be certain, but the shape is vaguely human like.
One of the cultists carries a heavy iron key and a bone whistle.
The room is otherwise empty save for a couple sputtering oil lanterns.
Doors to the south, east, and west are closed.
Actions?

Milton the Rana thief will pocket the key, handing the whistle to a companion. He will break the unholy symbols with his hands, snapping them into pieces. We should burn these, he mumbles to himself.
He will then listen at the doors in turn and check them for traps and locks.
OOC: Are the robes these cultists were wearing different than the ghostly figure's (the one that pointed to this room)? Was that figure wearing a holy symbol that we saw?

Balthar will open one of the doors (group consensus) assuming Milton has checked for traps.
