Milton doesn't mind the rain. He suggests they carry on to Harkbone.

Fredrick says I would volunteer to go to Harkbone but since I am not at my full strength I feel I would be doing the party a disservice. Instead I will take the children back to New Wickersham and get some medical attention. Will anyone else be going with us?

Alexander shakes his head: "I feel a royalist knight such as myself will be of better service in Harkbone: Theos knows what enemies of the kingdom we'll find there... I am sure Claire will take these children under her wings and shelter them among the faithful." Importunately, he puts his hands on Fredrick's shoulders and adds: "Thank you for ensuring these children's safety. Please, do send Claire my deepest regards when you see her..."

The safety of the children is most assured with the three adventurers.

As for the others...on to Harkbone!
