Fenwick examines the sphere closely. Could this be magical, he wonders aloud.

Fenwick cannot discern that, but he has a brief insight he has seen something shaped like it before.

Fenwick mutters,I wonder if that would fit in the bowl-shaped depression we saw in the room with the broken glass.

'You sir, are a genius!' Oberon exclaims. 'In all the blood and fear I'd forgotten about that... Now, how are we going to move it? Roll it maybe?'

It weighs perhaps 100lbs - one of you could carry it, slowly.

A reminder, here is the map from the last section you explored, the altar with the hemispheric depression is in #14 with hillside entry at #12:

and here is your current location, in #25:

Where to?

Fenwick suggests that we roll the sphere to the door (19) and then either continue to explore this level or somehow get it to the level at 12. IIRC, that's downhill so we should be able to roll it there with little issue. Regardless it will be at one of the entrances so we can take care of it later if need be.

Dolgrim agrees with Fenwick's plan, sounds sensible enough!

OoC: Suggest Oberon rolls the ball whilst others keep an eye and a sword out for danger?

You slowly make your way back to the exit (#19) where Oberon stops. It's dusk and the sky is still clear, the scent of fallen leaves a welcome change from the musty corridors behind you. You notice the entrance that leads to the altar is higher up on the hill, not lower. You could climb the hill with the sphere, albeit very slowly. Your stomachs grumble.
