Fenwick commands his new friend (on goblin): The wolf! Kill the wolf so it doesn't kill me!

He otherwise avoids engaging anyone.

Thanks for the bonus

Dolgrim drops his sling. With a roar, he rushes forward brandishing his axe and attacks the first goblin he can.

Gerhard doesn't need to stow his bow cause he just pulls his handaxe from his belt and moves towards the wolf, making a nasty cut at his back.

Oberon bellows obscenities at the wolf and winds up Skull-breaker for another swing.

OCC: Ideally, Oberon will attack the wolf but the red mist is closing in so anything goblinish or packing sharp teeth is fair game.

"The Black Gates of Helviti beckon, you scabrous cur!"

"The nine poxes be upon thee!"

"May that mange-ridden pelt be peeled from your back with blunt and rusty blades by the Seven Wee Snickets of The Lost Cauldron!"

And so on...

Yes, he is in melee along with Oberon and Grimma - those three were the only ones who had melee weapons ready to meet the goblin charge. Let me know if you want to change your action.

Initiative Party: 1 Goblins: 3

The charmed Goblin turns and strikes out at the wolf with his sword, missing.

The other remaining Goblin looks around, sees one dead companion, a badly wounded wolf, and his friend turn on him. He turns and flees.

The wolf leaps at Gerhard, who is at the same time rushing at the wolf. The wolf's jaws bite into Gerhard's pants, tearing them, but otherwise doing no harm.

Oberon strikes out at the wolf, but impacts only the rocky ground. Sparks fly.

Gerhard goes after the wolf with his hand axe, sinking it into his back. The wolf's body shudders and he collapses, quite dead.

Guntram goes after the fleeing Goblin, connecting solidly with his flail and wounding him.

Grimma too, goes after the fleeing Goblin, running him through with her sword.

Dolgrim arrives too late, the lone Goblin is already dead.

Status:

Oberon is wounded, two Goblins and a wolf lay dead, and one Goblin stands facing you, smiling at Fenwick.

Hello there, Fenwick calls over the goblin. Come here, my little friend. Don't be afraid.

Thank you for saving me from the wolf. What is your name? What were you and the others doing out tonight?
