Memphisto looks to the others, "Let's see what lies ahead, through the NW opening, agreed?"

Lisglen nods and waits for the men at arms to lead the way.

The party moves through the room to the exit on the north end of the west wall. Albin holds aloft his torch as Dahl peers down a hallway that extends northward. The corridor continues for at least 9 m, and after 6 m another passage can be seen, leading to the east.

In the meanwhile Van looks down the other corridor, extending westward, and by the flickering torchlight he can barely see that after 6 m the hallway opens up into a room.

Memphisto speaks softly to LIsglen, "The west corridor should join with a small room that connects to two other doors we had not opened. The north corridor is terra incognita. What way do you think is the best course?"

OOC--I don't know which of us is drawing the map, but we can assume Memphisto would be doing that.

As Dahl reports to the others of the path to the east off of the north corridor, he also indicates a preference for now taking the west corridor and, likely, finishing off their exploration of the southwestern part of this place.

Van frowns then says, "I don't care where we go and I don't know much about the layout of this damned place. The other cultists kept the initiates fairly confused as to where things are. I do know this: the cult is led by Father Faskull. He's an evil bastard, dirt priest who keeps blathering on about Xul. No one's seen this Xul they worship, but I know I've counted a dozen or so different followers who believe him.

Faskull went out on a holy mission to free the Xul under some damn old wizard tower. Black magic if you ask me and I know you didn't but I'm telling you anyway!"

Van spits and wipes his mouth with his forearm.

Memphisto turns to Van, "Well, it's good to know that he's not here. You DID say he is someplace else, right?"

"And if he is gone, how many cultists went with him?"

Van says, "Yes, Faskull left. Traveled to a wizard's tower, the name I don't recall. I think he went alone. A pilgrimage."

Memphisto says, "Well, let's explore a little more of this place before he gets back."

As suggested by Dahl, the party moves through the western hallway leading to the yet unexplored room. It seems that Memphisto's theory was right, as there are two doors in this 12 m by 9 m room: one on the far end of the north wall and one on the south wall. In the southwest corner stands an ancient looking brazier, unlit. Other than this, the room is empty.
