Holger signals Albin and Finnur to guard the rear while he too moves into the room to check out the other door leading to this here room. Listening for sound on the other side.
Traversing the room Holger will try not to focus on the tesserae covering the walls, just to be on the safe side.

The rest of the party enters the room, and Albin and Finnur follow Holger's instructions to stay close to the door to keep an eye out.

Dahl notices nothing peculiar about the flagstones: they are all pretty much alike, irregularly shaped and dusty. Tapping some with the butt of his spear only returns a dull, massive thud, indicating that it's highly unlikely that there is a hidden cavity underneath. Apart from the mosaics, there is nothing of interest on the east wall: no holes, cracks, or gaps, and no sign of a hidden passage...

Holger listens intently at the door on the north wall for a couple of seconds: he hears nothing on the other side.

"Agreed. Let's continue."

Absolutely, I'm keeping track of time rather closely! You entered the dungeon around noon and about two and a half hours have passed since then. That comes down to the time being around 2:30 pm right now.

Wonderful! I was thinking Memphisto would be needing a nap soon, but let's press on!

Holger also agrees to move on.

He motions Finnur and Albin to follow before turning round and attempting to open the door.

Finnur and Albin gather behind Holger, sword and bow at the ready, who in turn pulls down on the door handle and silently opens the door. As expected, 3 m up ahead a crossing of hallways can be seen. To the north, there is a staircase leading down and, as mentioned by Dahl, 6 m to the left (west) there is the T-intersection the party passed before. To the right (east), the corridor leads into darkness after 9 m. The only sound to be heard is the soft crackling of the torch, echoing off of the cold and damp dressed stone walls of the hallways.

Memphisto is okay with any direction but thinks it may be best to clear out this level. East, gents?
