Freda stares at them hard for a long moment, clearly considering the offer. Then she lowers the bow, slightly that is.

"Equal shares then? Plus pick of any short bows and arrows of quality?"

"You certainly don't lose your head easily!" answers Lisglen, still laughing. "I think it's fair. What do you think folks?"

Memphisto introduces himself, "I am Memphisto, practitioner of the mystical arts...not dark...just mystical." He bows low, "And who might you be, little lass?"

Holger grunts, looking around the group and wondering if they really need a trigger happy halfling, then decides to see how it goes.
He turns to the halfling and says: "You can put that arrow away now, kiddo."

OOC: I won't be able to post the next 9 days on account of me being on a trip. Wouter, would you take over Holger when necessary?

The halfling lowers the bow, but not before giving Holger a mean look.

"Me name's Freda Briarfoot, and that's a name you'll not likely to forget. I was scout/archer with the shire wardens under ol' Bowb Sandheaver. Short of it, we had a falling out of sorts and I says to him, 'toss off' and went about me merry way. Didn't life the life; the dangerous work with no payoff but a slap on the shoulder. Not me, no sirree! I'm about getting something for me labors. I might be all new as a shiny belt buckle at adventuring but my aim with a bow is true and I ain't afeard of no man or beast. Now what say you give me a hand at lifting this here trapdoor and get to business?"

“Hail, Freda. My name is Dahl Kolla. Let me give you a hand with that.” Dahl steps forward. “You know, we’ve been down there once before, a couple of days ago. There’s no loot left to be had on the first floor. But there is a lower level, and that is where we are headed.” Dahl reaches for the door’s ring and pulls.

Dahl beckons Holger to help him and together they manage to pull open the trapdoor.

A flow of cold, moist air brushes their faces as they peer down the 10 feet wide flight of stone stairs leading down into the pitch-dark underground lair.

“Albin.” Dahl lights a torch and passes it to Albin with a grin, half-amused by the thought of his own momentary forgetting of how dark it was down there.

"Well met Freda, then. I trust your intentions are honorable, if somewhat selfish. If you wish I can enlighten you about the teachings of the True Light which, I am sure, will give a better purpose to your overwhelming energy!" says Lisglen while his mates are opening the trap door.

Albin takes the torch form Dahl and descends the stairs. He stops after 6 m at the T-junction, peering down both ends of the north-south passageway. All seems to be clear.

As this floor of the dungeon is known and mapped, it will suffice to state where you want to go and which route you will take to get there (in case there are several options). Once the party descends into areas unknown we'll get to down to crawling again.

Also, having found a new party member, I'm going to need an update on the marching order :)
