Lisglen raises his holy symbol to Holger's face, whispers his prayer to the Lord of the True Light and behold: Holger's wounds visibly heal as his rasping breath becomes regular and tranquil. Holger thanks Lisglen for his divine service, then he closes the ranks of the party that carefully makes its way through the western hallway - now fully free of any cobwebs - and takes a look around in the room that lies beyond the turn to the south. The fire has cleared it of all the webs, but on the floor remains what seems to be the burnt body of a crocodile...

Lisglen carefully checks the stuffed crocodile from the tip of his staff.

Memphisto wonders aloud if the crocodile is really a reptilian humanoid of some sort?

Dahl walks around the room, wondering if there is anything else of interest that was maybe missed on first sight.

Upon closer inspection, Memphisto determines that the stuffed animal is just an animal and no reptilian humanoid of any kind. It's probably a hunting trophy of some sort. Upon Lisglen poking it with his staff, bits and pieces break off and crumble: it is in poor condition, especially after the fire.

Otherwise, the room is empty and no features strike Dahl in particular. The ceiling is 2.40 m high and the the walls are of the same dressed stone as the rest of the rooms and halls. There's nothing remarkable about the floor, either: just flagged stone, dirty and dusty.

Memphisto says, "Perhaps we should continue elsewhere? Shall we explore the east corridor off of the intersection?"

Dahl casts his eyes around the room one las time, disappointed at finding nothing of value. “Yes, my friend, let us see what lies down the east corridor.”

The party makes its way back to the four-way. Albin's flickering torchlight illuminates the first 9 m of the eastern corridor. As noted before, the floor of this passageway is particularly dusty: all floors passed before where somewhat covered with filth, but in this corridor one can hardly see the flagstones underneath the thick layer of dust anymore.

“Hold up.” Dahl moves to the front of the line. “For this stretch, let me go beside Albin. I will use the butt of my spear to prod carefully ahead and, hopefully, make sure the floor here is structurally sound.”

After a couple of meters the bright, crisp ticking of the butt of Dah's spear striking the cold, stone floor suddenly makes way for a dull, more heavy thud. Dahl stops and taps the spear a few more times on the piece of floor right in front of him: it sounds like he's hitting the lid of a large, empty wooden box.
