Lisglen runs for his life!

Memphisto waits to hear from the runners and then move towards Dahl at the other door.

Dahl stands ready waiting for Memphisto’s alert, assuming the plan is still for Van to try the door first, and if that is not successful, Dahl will try.

Van shrugs his shoulders and frowns. He places his hands on the door and waits for the signal. He will open with all his might at the appointed time.

Deciding not to light the oil, Holger and Lisglen continue to run down the hallway as fast as their legs can carry them. Before they can make the turn to the west, the dracoharpy chasing them stops in the middle of the mosaics room to launch a stream of highly acidic excreta at her two assailants. Holger just passes the corner as the stuff splashes around them on the walls and floor. Splatters land on Lisglen's grey robe and bite through the leather armor he is wearing underneath, severely burning his skin.

The fighter and the cleric make it to the four way and dive into the eastbound corridor to meet Albin and Memphisto just beyond the pit trap: "Quickly, one of them is right behind us!" Holger pants.

Combat mechanics Status

Memphisto yells, "Run!" and will run towards Dahl, yelling to get ready.

Ready to throw shoulder into door.

OOC: Do I see Holger and Lisglen yet? I wanted to wait until they tell me to open the door or I see both them and the beasties.

At this point, everyone will be returning to the door where Dahl and Van stand ready. There is no sign of any dracoharpies, though.

"It can't be far off, we have to act quickly!" Urges Holger.

"If both of the creatures didn't follow, we are still in for a fight. At least we may reduce their numbers in half, that may prove an advantage."

"When we open the door, let's make sure to secure the other door. I will cast my sleep spell on any creatures that remain."
