"I suggest to go south." says Lisglen, plainly.

Upon Lisglen's suggestion Albin and Freda sneak down the hallway to carefully scout ahead. The corridor turns out to run eastward for 18 m before ending at a door. This door is again of heavy iron-bound oak - just like the doors encountered before - but it is distinct in one particular way: upon closer examination the halfling discovers there is a keyhole right below the door handle. They decide not to try to open the door but first return to the junction to report back to the others: "There is a door at the end of the hall with a good chance of being locked. Should we try another route?" Says the torchbearer...

Lisglen looks at Memphisto. "Maybe we can check if the door is magical. If not, we can make sure it is locked before searching for a key..."

Memphisto will move towards the door to examine the key hole and the door itself for any sign of arcane properties.

Albin accompanies Memphisto to the door, lighting the hallway so that the magic-user can get a good look at it. Upon placing his hands close to the wood, Memphisto doesn't get any sense of a magical aura, nor does his staff resonate with the oscillations of a possibly present magical field when he holds it up close to the surface, the handle, and the key hole: he resolutely concludes that no magic is involved.

Lisglen is worried that the door might be trapped, given past experiences in these parts. He looks around to check if someone in the group could detect that. If not, he will propose to go back and explore the other corridor.

Balthus looks carefully at the door to detect anything that might indicate a trap.

The northern warrior meticulously inspects the door. There doesn't seem to be any trapping device attached to it: there are no visible wires or levers that would be pulled or turned if the door should be opened.

Lisglen looks at Balthus when he is doing his inspection. When he is done he suggests: "Will you try and push the door, warrior?"
