"No, I'd rather not waste time counting coins in this environment. When we return to the comforts of the Inn, then I will be happy to help divide the treasure. Until then, perhaps one of our young lads can carry the loot?"Magremore wrote:Dahl in due diligence will double check under and behind the trunk to make sure there is nothing that suggests another hidden exit to the room. “Makes sense to take the cloak with us. Shall we divide the loot among ourselves now?”

Re: Chapter 2: Into the Dungeon
“Sure, if Finnur can carry the sack without slowing us down, that sounds good.”
Re: Chapter 2: Into the Dungeon
Lisglen thoroughly inspects the rest of the room, and finds no other exists besides the one they entered through. Finnur will happily carry the loot: he came traveling extra light to make sure none of his potential pay should be left behind.
The party backtracks through the mosaics room, Memphisto carefully shielding his eyes from them, and then through the eastbound passageway, after which thay take a right turn and find themselves back in the north-south hallway at the T intersection, from where the crossing to the east can be seen.

“Shall we follow this corridor to the south and see where it leads?”
Re: Chapter 2: Into the Dungeon
"Good idea!" agrees Lisglen while following his companions.

The party passes the T intersection, and after they pass the stairs on their right, they see that 9 m up ahead the hallway turns right (west). They turn the corner and after another 3 m they find themselves at a T junction: both to the west and to the south there is a door after 6 m.

Re: Chapter 2: Into the Dungeon
Dahl retrieves another torch from his pack and hands it to Albin. “Let’s see what’s ahead,” Dahl says to his companions as he leads the way to the west door for a closer inspection.
Re: Chapter 2: Into the Dungeon
Albin takes the torch from Dahl and carefully lights it with his dying one, which he puts on the floor. Upon inspection, Dahl finds that the western door is much like the door the party encountered before: it's made of iron-bound oak and there seems to be no lock. Judging from the placement of the hinges, the door seems to open towards him.
Re: Chapter 2: Into the Dungeon
"Maybe I should do it myself this time." suggests Lisglen before moving forward and attempting to open the door.
