"Well we can see what kind of treatment we could expect from Nilog given half the chance. He's useful but we need to watch him like a hawk" Deccon whispers to the party members.
Deccon unloads and stows his crossbow and takes up sword and shield.
"Now, what do you say adventurers, shall we pay this Gnish a visit?" queries Deccon flexing his sword arm.

Yilmaz nods in agreement and instructs Asil: "Keep a close watch on Nilog here, Asil. Don't let him out of your sight for a second."

"That's that then. Show us the way Nilog" says Decccon, pointing down the passageway with his sword.

Nilog eagerly shuffles his deformed body through the south entrance. The runty hobgoblin seems to humming a cheerful tune as he leads the party along the dark corridor until they wind back north and into a 20x30 room. There's several piles of straw scattered about, beds for the goblins. Trash is everywhere as well as small bones gnawed clean. Jugs of grog lay about, some smashed into shards. A door is set into the west wall and Nilog points a bony finger at it.
"Gnish," he whispers.

"Describe the room past the door Nilog. Is Gnish alone? How many exits from the room and is the door locked or trapped?" whispers Deccon as he scans the debris in the room, looking for signs of any overlarge vermin or anything else that could be dangerous.

Nilog nods his head.
"Gnish in there...Gnish all alone. Small room at end of small hall. Door is only way in, out. Door not trapped."
