One of my favorite movies of all time. Back in High School I made a bard character who was patterned after him, much to my friends disapproval. Everyone was quite happy when he met an untimely death at level 2 or 3. They hated him most when he would bust out with the word of the day.

I think it would be hilarious if the word of the day was "initiative" or something like that. Especially if the someone wasn't in the room when the word as announced.

That's about how it went down. We had a barbarian who hated the bard. He was interesting.
I'm getting lazy in my old age, instead of coming up with totally new concepts, I'm scavenging movie/book/tv characters....

At least this guy. Years ago I always labored to come up with what seemed to be a cool, original concept, but in reality it was just a non-descript guy who had good stats. Mayonnaise. Now I love flawed characters.
I played my High School years with one group of people, they were great, still friends with them (although distantly) to this day. I also infrequently played with a group whose DM was a strict 3d6 guy, and their characters were meat sacks with a pulse. But they had some wild fun and although they died a lot more often, they seemed to have more fun that my group. I see why now.

Man, all this talk. If Otis meets a terrible fate, the time may be right for a return of...

PEE WEE - THE BARBARIAN!

No? OKay.

PEE WEE - THE WIZARD EXTRAORDINAIRE!

It's a work in progress.

I was pretty young when the 81 comedy show came out, but I did manage to get tickets to see the 2010 revival of the stage show. An Army friend of mine knows John Paragon (the guy who played Jambi) and he scored us a couple tickets. Was hoping it would lead to a Pee Wee renaissance, but I think the show ran for a couple/few months. It was booked up though.

Love Pee Wee. He's nuts.
