Otis feebly raises his glass and takes a sip, wordlessly watching the spectacle. He is visibly nervous.

The feast continues late into the evening. Lord Beamish's men begin to tell the Moonglimmer's henchmen of the dangerous and dark beauty of the forest. Sir Tavish, the lord's son is out on a hunting trip. He and other braves knights of Nye are on the trail of a bandersnatch. This fearsome creature hunts the jub jub bird and moves silently through the forest.
One of the men mentions that Sir Tavish was really hunting for the Jabberwocky. The others laugh nervously, claiming it to be myth. But one of the men claims that Lord Beamish had seen one in his younger days. The discussion moves away from this subject and the guards seem amiable to the group. Learning of Roger's occupation as shrubber seems to animate the men. They ask him questions about various shrubbery and genuinely seem fascinated by the shrubber's knowledge.
They've seen Otis before, but assume he is hired on with the party and don't bother him.
As the night closes, Moonglimmer is taken to a well appointed room in the keep by one of the chamber maids. A fire is lit and the room is comfortable. They rest of the group are shown to the stables where a nice large hay pile awaits.
Morning comes early. The weather is clear and crisp as the sun rises for the day. Lord Beamish provides a hearty breakfast for the group and bids Lady Moonglimmer farewell. He asks that she return to see him when they finish their business with Aethelwine. The lord provides a small contingent of guards (6 of them) to escort the group.
Actions? Is there anything you need before leaving to meet the priest?

Breakfast consists of a hearty rasher of crisp bacon, fried jub jub bird eggs, and thick slices of fresh bread slathered in butter. And...to wash it down, pitchers of milk.

Fungo elbows Erwin. Think that bird you charmed can make eggs like these? If so, we may never need to worry about food again! he asks as he wolfs down the hearty breakfast. A piece of moldy straw falls out of his hair and onto his bread but he just pulls it off and licks the butter off of it before eating the bread itself.

Fungo is visibly saddened that the bird can't provide eggs like those that were, until recently, on his plate. Then he sees Erwin get up, his food half-eaten, shrugs his shoulders, and takes Erwin's plate. He'd say, Waste not, want not, but he's too busy devouring the rest of his companion's breakfast.
