Trying best to be quiet, the party slips off to the north, back through the entrance of the ring fort and once again into the woods.

The druid is visibly relieved upon moving into the forest again.

After moving several hundred yards to the north, the party stops to catch their breath.

Actions? Do you continue farther into the woods or make camp here? Fire or none?

"This looks like a good spot to rest," Erwin says. "I don't think we should have a fire tonight, no reason to tempt fate." Assuming we agree to camp here, he'll eat some rations and settle in until he has rested enough to replenish his spell.

Moonglimmer calls Attercop at nightfall and asks him to be careful during his hunt and to stay alert for enemies.

Bizenghast: Sorceress


The Sorceress curls up to dirt in a natural dip in the ground. Lying on her side she flips through her spellbook longing at the empty pages. Eventually she drifts off to sleep, the confidence of her companion's presence bringing some comfort.

Fungo finally gets his heart to stop racing. He eventually falls into a fitful slumber.

Attercap wakes Fungo with a loud thump. Fungo rubs his eyes and sees that the giant spider has brought breakfast. A plump hellbat lies hear the hobbit's head.

The party did rest fitfully. The night was pierced by occasional wailing and strange sounds. Erwin has an ashen look. He feels quite weak yet and thinks that it will take a good long rest to regain full health to his constitution.

The morning sun comes full and welcome through the trees. The ringfort sets just to the south of the party.
