Otis says "I'm glad your spider is okay. Maybe he can help us find someplace to go, after we check out that stone thing. I don't wanna be anywhere near this crazy town when that King-a-ma-jig fella shows up." He glances at the Torus guy and says "Why are you helping us, mister? Is there a place we can go to get away from here and hide?"
Torus called Homer snaps at Otis, "If you would stop asking questions and just keep moving, maybe we all can get out of this place!"

The trip to the standing stone is but a matter of a few minutes. The place looks different in the daylight. The stone is now ashen colored and dull compared to last night when mystical symbols glowed over its surface. The stone is on a small hill in a clearing.

The forest looks as normal as a forest can be. Susanna sees some wildlife, a fox squirrel chasing a bluejay, a deer grazing in the distance, and a hawk drafting in the upper currents.
If the wildlife is easy, Susanna will relax a bit. She wasn't sure if this forest was to be trusted.

Fungo examines the standing stone carefully. Does this thing work during the day? He feels the surface to see if the runes are still there.

Moonglimmer will look around the hill and clearing for evidence of others having been here besides our group.

Erwin examines the stone alongside Fungo and also takes a look at the area around it for any tracks or clues to how the stone might work.

Bizenghast: Sorceress
Image

Bizenghast puts her left hand on Torus called Homer, and her right hand on Otis, "Torus... you are obviously anxious to escape, and Otis... you are obviously anxious to escape... " Bizenghast, in line with her history, begins to sing and enchant the two men... as if she were a Siren - a Harpy herself - though she does not sing her haunting song to ensnare these men, but to free them from their projections upon each other...

"Words are not violence, but they break a silence. Come crashing into this confused world. Painful to thee - pierce right through me; this may seem bland - oh this little world - all I ever wanted and all I ever needed is here in this town - but with death words are meaningless and forgettable."

with this, she looks at the two men and hopes for solution because her heart tells her it's town, but her mind tells her it's not.

Upon hearing Bizenghast singing, Moonglimmer will stop what she is doing, stare intently at the sorceress, and listen carefully for something familiar...

Susanna is scared, and in awe. She wants the men to stop fighting but she’s not sure what to make of the siren song.

Torus called Homer stops looking at Otis and immediately turns his attention to Bizenghast. He jumps back several paces and hides behind Susanna.

You can see he examining himself, looking at his arms, legs, and clothing, and then pinching himself. Satisfied that all is in place, he looks at Bizenghast and narrows his eyes, "What, exactly are you playing at young apprentice? I'll not stand for your parlor tricks!"

He dusts himself off and tries to regain his composure, "I thought you wanted to look at this standing stone?"

---------------------------------
Just before this, Erwin and Fungo were peering at the standing stone. The can see carvings all over the stone. The carvings are nothing either of the two men recognize.

---------------------------------
Moonglimmer sees sign of many footsteps in the vicinity. Nothing appears to stand out as fresh (at least in the last day) other than the tracks her companions made fleeing this place last night. The woods appear quiet now.
----------------------------------

The sun will be moving behind the trees in six hours or so. It appears to be an hour or two past noon.

Susanna turns around and looks at Torus. "How did you get here, anyway? Did that man, Claudius, trick you as well?"
