Jahan will take a look around the roof of the tower for an entrance to the tower. He will try to signal down to the party to let them know the tower is occupied.
There is a trapdoor in the roof below Jahan along the east wall. It matches with the ladder he saw in the room below.

Miles will keep guard, sword drawn, at the base of the tower. He will wait for a signal from Jahan (either that he is coming down or that we should join him up top).

Just to be sure no one is moving in the tower, Miles will listen at the door once more.

Jahan will signal down to the party that he’s found a trap door on the roof of the tower, and try to determine if the group wants to join him up top.

As I said, it is a bare roof, with a chimney and a trapdoor.

Alphonse sighs “oh dear….” And he carefully scales the rope, looking downright terrified as he does so.
