Good to meet you folks! I'm John and my forum name is jcftao. I started playing ttrpgs around 1981 with Moldvay B/X, running games and making the switch to other versions of DnD...1st edition AD&D through 3.5. I ran out of steam with 4E, feeling that it was taking a different direction than I wanted...

I agree with Merias, WB FMAG is a great starting point for OSR gaming. I always enjoy tinkering with the rules and making my own houserules and FMAG is a good framework to do just that.
