Phelim will quickly put out his torch, and ready his spear. If the creatures come through the corridor (into the ambush) he will attempt to backstab one of them.

Phelim will inform the others of upcoming danger and suggest dimming the lights so we can set up an ambush.

Phelim nods to the suggestion of exploring south.

To be honest, I just pronounce it as written. It's an anglicised form of Irish Féilim.

Phelim will first check the doors for traps, and then listen. He will inspect doors visually, and if nothing seems off, will proceed to run his fingers around the edges. He will do so for any doors, as long as we have time.

"Ha, got it!" Phelim mutters "You saw that guys, right?"

"Anyway, doors usually hide something of value—or swift death—so I'd like to check 'em out first."

"Any objections?"

Phelim takes a pot shot!

Phelim will attempt to shoot it down (shortbow).

"Bah, somebody already picked all the low hanging fruits..." Phelim mutters.

He then comes closer to the bloody trail and kneels down, facing east. He squints and listens attentively.

Phelim will inspect both statues without touching. He will get close and sniff them. He is also interested in their make: do they look chissled, how do the joints look like, etc.
