"Enough talk, I say, eh?" Tarmo moves around the outside of the ruins, attempting to flank the men within, while still staying out of the line of fire of his companions. If he gets a clear shot with his bow he will take it.

OOC--Just to clarify...your group is in a ruined tower. It is broken down to the first floor. There are other ruins nearby. The opponents are outside of the tower surrounding your group. You are not sure the number of men you face.

So, will Tarmo charge out of the tower and try to engage the enemy?

Balthar whispers, my friends, might we be better off seeking cover in an underground passage contained within this tower if it exists?

OCC: is there a passage underground with the tower?

Yes, behind a pile of rubble, there is a debris choked stairway going down into a dank, dark, chamber.

Milton agrees and will head that way, but will keep an eye out for treachery!

ooc: Agree that might be our best bet.

Tarmo heads to the stairs and helps clear enough debris to descend.

The passageway is clear enough, Tarmo thinks that if he treads cautiously, he can make his way down the stairs safely.

OOC--let's get a marching order.

We have these PCS....Tarmo (archer), Milton (rana thief), Balthar (swashbuckling fighter), Thorhall (northman fighter)

Let me know your marching order and any other details...lights...other precautions...

That looks like a good marching order. How's the light in the passage? Milton has good night vision but no infravision, right?

Milton, the rana, can see very well at night, but not in complete darkness such as underground. In bright sunlight, he is at -1 to hit.

"Hm, anyone bring a torch?" Tarmo asks.
