Dolgrim storms forward holding Demon Bane up high, trying to hack away at the first dog he can hit.

Oberon snatches up the green gem; does it fit in the compartment of this now open chest?

If so, stick it in!

If not close the lid and turn to face the stone hounds.

Fenwick keeps away. If he can get in a stab with his dagger, he will.

Finnr will pull his enchanted short sword and move forward to attack the statue that leaps towards him.

Here is the situation at the start of the round:



Oberon notes the gem fits, he places it inside the "sword" compartment and closes the lid. He turns to face the hounds and they still are attacking through the entry archway (he can attack next round).

The hounds snarl and snap at Grimma and Dolgrim, but are unable to land a bite.

Dolgrim, Grimma and Finnr move forward to meet the hounds as they come through the archway (no room for anyone else to get in just yet). Of the three, only Dolgrim is able to land a blow that wounds the lead hound.

Guntram moves in and attacks the second hound from the rear, getting a solid blow in with his mace. The hound turns to engage him!

Actions? Next round, Oberon can engage the one hound in the room. Finnr or Dolgrim can either attack the hound in the room, or move through the archway and assist Guntram. Fenwick can attack either if he really wants to ( ), also don't forget about Bart.

Fenwick doesn't want to attract attention, so he'll only get stabby if (a) he thinks he can do it without the demon dogs noticing or (b) he's cornered.

Dolgrim will slip past the lead hound through the doorway in order to aid Guntram who now faces the second hound single-handedly. He will try to land the blade of his hand axe right between the beast's shoulder blades.

What is the deal with Bart? Under whose command is he?

EDIT: I had to dig a little because I joined the game at a later moment, but I found that Bart is a goblin loyal to Fenwick for sparing his life.
