Rumors

- The Duke is building a stockade to the Northwest of Deepwater near the lumber camp (hex 13,8). Woodcutters have been reporting evidence of increased humanoid activity to the north of the camp and the hill area adjacent. Two surveying parties have disappeared in the area over the last several months, and the commander of the garrison has ordered the woodcutters to cease expansion of lumbering to the north until the stockade is complete.

- The town of Fair Bluff (hex 10,10) is the home to a powerful wizard who is close friends with the King.

- Reginald the lumberjack of Fair Bluff says he and his brother were beaten and robbed by some little dogmen near the road into Fair Bluff (in hex 11/10). They took all their stuff, and even pulled out his brother's gold tooth!

- Dwarven miners have found diamonds, gold and silver in the foothills of the mountains south of Fair Bluff.

- Lord Tathor of Fair Bluff is said to have killed over 100 goblins in his service to the king prior to coming here. I heard he was sent here as punishment for an affair with the Queen.

- Trappers have reported that their traps have been sabotaged and/or destroyed by someone or something northeast of Fair Bluff (hex 11,8.)
