Maybe that is his cousin, the butcher?
I love it! I admire your ability to think on the fly - awesome.

I owe it all to the fact that I was grillin' a bunch of porksteaks for tomorrow and had food on the brain.

OOC: Dreamin' o'Sammiches.

IC: "So, Sammich..." Moonglimmer starts, "Crabcakes for supper?"

As Moonglimmer swipes the torch to-and-fro, is anything else visible in the cave?

(You know, other than globs of blood, flesh, and scattered body parts of two missing sailors.....)

You search the cavern and find other crabs, but these are smaller, about hand sized. The gruesome scene needs no other description other than the fact that a couple legs are unaccounted for.

There are no other exits to the cavern. A small pool is situated near the back of the cave. The cracked crab lies bobbing in it like some grisly Halloween party game.

This may just put you off of crab for a long while.

Fungo checks the pool and around the back of the cave to see if he can find any treasure.

If he finds none, he will lead the way back to that eastern route.

"So, these are two of the three missing fishermen. Shall we wrap their remains in cloaks and take them back to Sack?"

Susanna was actually starting to feel a little hungry...

Considering they'll have to wait here for a few more hours, they could always light a fire, hehe!

Does it look like the dead guys were killed by the crabs? Or dismembered after death?

No crab could have pulled these men limb from limb. The remains speak of a more brutal force at work.

So the bodies were dumped here?

Probably dragged here from the beach?
