The threat to cut down Fungo's perch was a jest by Sir Tavish, but on hearing the elf maid's words Tavish rushes past her towards the grisly scene. His men follow, weapons at the ready.

Moonglimmer can see Sir Tavish fall to his knees at the sight of the empty armor. He clutches his fists and cries out. You hear one of the passing men-at-arms utter the word, "Jabberwocky."

The knights and men-at-arms rally and begin to march off towards the west, spears at the ready. Sir Tavish calls back, "Good fortune to you and may we share a cup of wine at Beamish Hall in days to come. Farewell!"

Actions?

Riding up, Hedwig lifts his visor and his face is pained and pallid. Yet he remains stoic as he watches Beamish and his men leave.

"Fare thee well, brave knights!" he calls out to them wistfully. Then he turns to his own band of companions.

"A good fight. Alas...I don't feel so good."

"Good Sir Hedwig, climb off your horse so we can tend your wounds!" Moonglimmer gently commands.

Otis - Fighter

Otis silently surveys the scene and the departing knights. Any chance there is a weapon left behind?

Otis mumbles... "that jibberwookie thing looked mad. I hope we don't see him again."

Otis does indeed find a boar spear lodged in a tree. A shield lies discarded as well! It has no markings on it, just a plain wooden shield.

Otis - Fighter

Otis grins from ear to ear. He lovingly cleans off the spear and shield, and for the moment, he'll keep the table leg, the last souvenir of his home... He raises his spear and says "I'm ready for that Hookiewookie-thing if it comes back, uh huh."

Sir Hedwig's wounds are attended to and he regains a little health (3 hp restored).

The battle is over and the party moves once again into the forest, heading north. Moving into the woods, you notice off to your right, what looks like a rowan tree.
Upon closer inspection, Erwin is certain that it is a rowan tree, but the party knows that this is not the tree mentioned by Aethelwise.

As she passes Erwin she will whisper, "Could this rowan be a glamour summoned by something fey?"

"No, I think it is quite real," Erwin says, pausing to examine it. "But you are correct, we cannot harvest even a single branch from this tree. Let us move on."

Otis admires the tree from arms length, and he keeps watch as the others chat. He'll move along when the party starts walking again.
