Fungo whirls and lets loose an arrow. It embeds in the shoulder of the hound. A moment later, Bizenghast's spell takes affect. The hound skids to a stop at Susanna's feet, snoring loudly.
The second hound tries once again to bite Attercop, but the giant spider is too quick. Attercop, feeling severely wounded, jumps up into the trees and climbs out of sight.
Moonglimmer aims at the hound and fires two arrows, the first flies wide, but the second finds its mark. The hound yelps as the arrow buries into its side, killing it.
Otis runs towards Susanna and makes it to her side. Erwin readies his staff.
OOC--since the hound is sleeping, I guessed that Erwin will pause his attack. I will allow Erwin to attack if he wishes.
The bridge is just a few yards away, lanterns glowing softly on either side, lighting the path to a village.
The huntsman's horn blasts again. Out of the woods comes a large group. Several humanoids similar to the ones the party encountered at the ring fort, hold lanterns lighting the way. A master of the hounds being pulled along by several large hounds on a leash. Several others have hounds on leashes. And the strangest sight of all is that of six other slender humanoids riding large stags. They carry shortbows. One rides a white stag and has a long green cloak trailing behind. He has long golden hair and wears a circlet of gold. He motions to several of the others. The hounds are unleashed and they draw their bows to fire at the retreating company.
Feeling quite angry, Otis will pause to finish off the sleeping hound, glaring at their pursuers as he does, then he'll kick it in overdrive and run with the group to the (hopefully) safety of the village.

Bizenghast: Sorceress
Bizenghast stops to support Otis finishing off the sleeping hound; after all, it was her work. The Sorceress then runs with Otis to the bridge ~ to the village.
Otis pierces the heart of the magically slumbering hound and it dies.
The humanoids at the forest edge charge forward on their stags. They bound onward with impressive speed, readying their bows and closing quickly.
Bizenghast, Susanna, and Otis turn to follow the others towards the bridge. Otis, delayed by dispatching the hound, is the last to cross the bridge. Arrows fly towards his retreating form, but land far short of their mark.
Beyond the bridge, the party sees a small town. The buildings have stone foundations and are whitewashed plaster and wood. The roofs are wooden shake shingles. A few candles appear lit in some of the upstairs rooms of many buildings. The town has several dozen buildings. A neat pathway leads to a fountain in the center of the village.
There are no walls around the town, but a stream flows lazily on the west side (you crossed a bridge there).
Lamposts are posted on the street and provide a soft amber glow. A curious thing about the lamps is that they don't seem to be burning...no flames.
As the party watches their pursuers, they see that the hunters have turned around and have ridden off into the forest once more.
"As I suspected, " Moonglimmer says as they survey their surroundings, "Either the stream, the bridge, or the town itself provides safety from the Hunt."
The elf looks to her friends, "But the question remains whether our coming here to this town was coincidence... or did they drive us here like cattle?"
