Chapter 9 ~ Odimus of Isprey
Re: Chapter 9 ~ Odimus of Isprey
Otis - fighter
While the others are lighting this guy up, Otis quickly goes back to retrieve the rest of his gear and rejoins the others, helping them mop up and search for more creatures or loot.
OOC: would be nice to have proof we killed something and avenged these deceased guys...

Susanna will help with any lifting and carrying! If Otis wants to keep looking for more trolls she’ll help him with that next.

Bengar eagerly stoops down, pressing the torch into the oil on the troll's skin.

Sammich Buttonchubb
With the Troll seemingly under control, Sammich springs into action! Diligent to hit every member of his team, Sammich shoves a meat-pasty into the hands of everyone, welcome or not. After the initial stares and shock (the historical, fantasy equivalent of "WTF R U DOING?!") the half-pint realizes he's being stared at by some... "Oh. Surely my friends are hungry!? You must keep up your strength... or maybe as a celebration... If nothing else?" he finishes with a sheepish grin.
The Baker then assists with burning, searching, and looting as necessary and/or helpful.

Fungo smells the burning baddie, adding his torch to the mix, and wonders if the odor is any more or less toxic than the driftwood fire…
Re: Chapter 9 ~ Odimus of Isprey
The pungent aroma of burning troll adds a new dimension to the savory pasties. Yum!
Searching the remainder of the cavern finds no trolls, nothing else that wants to eat the party.
Within the troll's cavern is an oily leather sack of dubious origin.
Inside the sack is the following...
a golden headress carved with strange images of fish men wielding tridents. It is a bizarre and unsettling piece of jewelry.
a polished skull, perhaps a memento of a memorable meal?
a small ivory statue of a grotesque fish man carved with runes...even more unsettling than the headress.
a pouch with some crude bits of gold, hammered into flat pieces
and three black pearls

Fungo looks at the stuff in the sack.
This is cool, he says, voice funny because he's trying not to breathe through his nose.
Hey look, a funny hat-thing! He puts in the headdress and starts goofing in the firelight. Do I look like a fish-cleric?

"No, dear," Moonglimmer deadpans, "You look like a fishwife."

Bengar examines the bits of gold hammered flat.
Clearly not the work of dwarves, he'll observe. He'll then check on Susanna.

Moonglimmer points to the ivory statue.
"Is this a Dagonite?" the elf inquires of her friends.
