Fungo checks the hat real quickly and then waits for Moonglimmer’s report. He glances northward while the elf looks East.

Bengar also takes a peak to the east, figuring someone his height might see something different than Moonglimmer does.

Otis - Fighter

Otis stays close to Bengar, with sword and shield ready.

To the east, Moonglimmer and Bengar can see a tunnel filled with stalactites and stalagmites. There is room to move between them, but the floor is uneven.

To the north is a sandy floored passage, damp with sea water.

Actions?

Fungo suggests North. Are there footprints other than the ones we’re leaving?

The north passage shows some sign that something has been dragged over the sand. Something large.

Otis motions toward the drag marks with his sword. “Yeah, that’s interesting. Let’s go that way.”

Who is holding torches?

If Moonglimmer carries, she cannot use her bow.

She has a super-nifty new sword though.

The hat is a simple woolen fisherman's cap like the one that Sack is wearing.'
Beside the fact that it is well worn, there is nothing remarkable about it.

You move into the north passage. In the light of the torch, you see a grisly scene. Two pale, waterlogged bodies lie scattered in the cavern. I say scattered due to the fact that limbs have been torn away. In all, it is a horrible sight. Small pale crabs scuttle over the remains.

A clacking noise and chittering come from out of the darkness ahead of you! In the torch light you see several more crabs, but these are four feet in diameter! They move towards the party, waving heavy claws and snapping them angrily.

[intiative, PCs=6, crabs=5...PCs goe first]

IIRC...Fungo, Bengar, and Moonglimmer were in the front?
