The Quartermaster can provide up to one week of iron rations, rope, arrows, bolts, shields, oil, torches, lanterns. Just tell me what you have taken and then write in on your character sheet.
Might Sammich also be able to trade in his Leather armor for Studded Leather armor, and purchase a Short Sword?

[The leather is used armor but he will give you 15sp for it. The cost of studded leather is...my rule...40sp and provides AC of 6]
Whitebox doesn't have studded leather, but we do now.
I think we'll call it SumoLeather!

The journey by boat is fairly boring. You catch a nap, dozing in the shade of the sail during the warm afternoon. The coastline changes. Gone are the chalk cliffs and now you see marshlands. Cat-tails grow in profusion as well as saw-grass. Flights of herons take wing as the small boat glides southward.
Eventually, dusk grows, then nightfall. It is a new moon so the night is quite dark, lit only by the starry sky.
The captain furls the sail and rowers continue in silence. The captain consults with Bengar, being that he is the only person aboard able to see in the darkness. A short while later, the boat reaches an estuary and the rowers pull harder to get the craft into the river. They put the boat to shore a few hundred yards upstream.
"We will return tomorrow, under the cover of night. Signal with a small light source starting an hour after darkness. We will be looking for your signal...and may Eos grant you good fortune."
You gather your belongings and prepare to move onto the shore.
Any questions or actions?

Susanna will bid the captain goodbye. She'll turn to the others. "Torches? Or Bengar to lead us in the dark?"

Otis quietly gathers his gear and disembarks, and says to the captain "Which direction is this village in?" Once we're ready to roll, he'll follow the others.
OOC: We should probably concoct a story in case we run across anyone. Yeah, we're outsiders and they'll probably try to kill us, but maybe we could claim to be on the run from the law or something. Just a thought.
