Erwin moves in and raps the warrior hard with his staff...does 4 points!

The warrior nearest Susanna has fallen!

One warrior stands 30' distant and six more are gathered near the village entrance.

Fungo moves towards the group. They don't seem to notice the stealthy little hobbit.

d20=16! He easily hits without even adding bonuses for sneak attack!

Fungo puts a blade into one of the warriors kidney...and he falls backward dead!

Uh oh! Several of the nearby warriors notice Fungo and turn towards him!

Sammich fires two arrows at the warrior (who had thrown a spear).

The first arrow flies wide but the second sticks in his shoulder....2 points damage.

Susanna charges the same warrior, her mace held high.

The warrior though injured, dodges her mace. He pulls his wicked fish knife and makes ready to stab her!

Erwin casts sleep on the group of six warriors - hopefully including the three moving towards fungo.

Fungo makes use of his blade if another gets close enough to attack.

Erwin waves his hands in the air and utters a magical word of sleep....all of the warriors near Fungo drop to the ground to slumber!

Fungo is spared. (He had more HD than the other targets surrounding him.)

Susanna rolls a critical hit on her attacker, crushing his skull!

No targets are visible now, but the sound of voices are coming from the village.

Truss them up and gag 'em, says Fungo. Drag them back to the woods in the dark. Then we wake one and question him.

Otis - Fighter

Otis says "I think we should only take a couple, all of em' is too many to take with us. And after what we seen earlier, I'm for burning this place to the ground. These ain't good people."

Otis will assist in dispatching of excess warriors, and then helping drag off the others. Otis is realllllly wanting to trash this village though.

Fungo is able to stab a warrior or truss one up. He's a bit too heavy for the little hobbit to tuck under his arm and scamper into the woods...that is unless he gets help.

If the PCs wish to dispatch the warriors, they may do so, but it will take time...one coup de grace per round for any character doing that....something to ponder especially considering that the village is alerted to some commotion near the entrance.

Speaking of that, you do hear more noise coming from within the village proper.

What shall you do?

Another consideration...where to now? Your ride won't be back till tomorrow night.

To Players: think maybe we can get enough of the village/forest burning to keep them busy until our ride arrives? Also, I agree w/badams- we should only take two and separate them for and while questioning- use what they say against each other, etc.

To DM: thanks for NPC'ing my Hobbit while I was out of the country.
