The knight's sword slashes down at the poor hobbit...but Fungo frantically dodges the blow!

"Defiler! You shall die where you stand!" He makes ready to wheel his horse for another pass.

Fungo has won the next round...what do you do?

Fungo tackles the horse’s legs as the rider goes by, attempting to trip the fellow.

We’ll get this horse across the finish line, he exclaims.

As Sammich touches Fungo's shoulder, he stands as still as a statue.

Sammich rubs his eyes for he can't belief what he sees. The ground is white with snow. A rider clad in armor charges towards his friend Fungo! Sammich watches in horror as Fungo dives for the horse's legs!

The horse runs over the poor hobbit! The knight misses Fungo with his sword. (Fungo's attempt to trip the horse (d20=7) is not successful. The horse, however, tramples Fungo (d20=19) for 3 points of damage. The rider misses Fungo with a sword strike.)

Actions?

As Erwin reaches out to touch the collars of the two irascable hobbits, he freezes.

...Erwin sees a snow-covered plain and an armored knight wheeling his horse, his blade flashing. The two hobbits are nearbly. Fungo is lying on the ground and Sammich is standing close to him.

Actions?

I'ts been a while, but I seem to recall that Erwin the Heretic had sleep and CLW memorized.

Otis shakes his head and says to the others not entranced "I don't know what's goin' on, but don't touch us, I'm gonna see what's goin' on. And stick those prisoners if they make a peep!"

Otis will grab the others to shake them and see why they are frozen in place.
