Things seem to be moving, but at a slow pace, and there isn't much on FB either. Dan did post a play test 2nd ED character sheet on FB on Aug 10, so it seems that things are moving along, but no official statement yet. It's a bit confusing because there are two LL groups on FB, one has commenting paused, and some folks don't realize there is another active board.

Dan made a recent statement 2 days ago (I just saw it today) on the LL FB page:

I'm increasingly unsatisfied with how Labyrinth Lord second edition is turning out. I'm putting playtesting on hiatus while I reevaluate what I want to accomplish. I'll update as soon as I can about what path I choose forward. I've put sooooo many days/hours into this, but nonetheless when things aren't working out it's time to step back for a different perspective.

I see an update recently posted to DF that Dan is going to update the basic LL rules to be closer to B/X (which will be free to anyone who purchased LL) and offer a supplement for all of the new stuff. Seems like a great plan!
