The Grendel – a S&W Humanoid Variant

I love new monsters and reading through this one makes me glad it did not have a couple of more HD and that its move rate was not one step higher. Their attacks, just with the sword, makes them quite vicious.
They are highly skilled at sword fighting and typically attack with two blades, gaining +1 to-hit and the better of two damage rolls if they do hit.

Two attacks
and
a +1 to hit
and
take the best of two damage rolls
WOW!

Yes, they are deadly! I wanted something a bit more dangerous than your typical 2HD humanoid.

I used them in my Ravendale WB campaign, they killed one of the hirelings. The play report for that is here:

Sounds like a really fun game. Have you thought about taking Ravendale - a S&W Whitebox Campaign this thread and giving it, its own forum section and posting the things about the world that the players have discovered over the course of your game? Maybe posting some known map areas and stuff like that.

Not bad idea, although the campaign is defunct presently I still have the old maps and campaign notes.

I think it would be a great feature for your forum.
