From https://smolderingwizard.wordpress.com/ ... s-gallery/.

Early in the days of the OSR, blogs were a central resource for ideas and fan-made creations, ripe pickings for overworked GMs. Many of the early blogs are still online including Strange Stones, a self-described “nerdy RPG blog”. From 2010-2015, the blog author, Venomous Pao, posted lists of pre-generated LL AEC characters and adventuring parties, then collected them in a single PDF, available to anyone for free.

The rogues gallery is as one would expect – lists of pre-generated characters but with lots of flavor, including unique head gear. The adventuring parties are a nice touch, useful for wandering encounters. Although some of the adventuring parties are of higher level, all of the pre-generated characters are 1st level. There are over 100 characters representing all of the LL AEC classes, as well as multi-classes, and 12 adventuring parties. It really is a great resource.

The Labyrinth Lord Advanced Edition Companion (LL AEC) Rogues Gallery is available from the Strange Stones blog.

I remember venomous pao. Haven’t heard from/about them in a while. Is that the compilation of these?

Yep, it's the compilation of all those blog posts. I know you play 1e a lot - and this seems like this would be useful for a 1e ref as well.

Oh yeah. The first two modules or so I played with my kids, using 1e, after like a 10 year hiatus (or more!) were Labyrinth Lord. For me it’s more about the “feeling” of the game/module. Pretty much anything written for OSRIC or LL I’m probably going to like. Those folks speaka my language! :)

The first one was very likely: Temple of the Ghoul by H. John Martin and one of the next couple was: The Courtyard of Gerald Red by R. Lawrence Blake.

Apparently first initial name guys are a good indication of what I like too.

 I checked and I have those PDFs! They seem like good intro adventures.
