So Bert swings his mace at Slip. I rolled a 20. That hits, right?

Sorry - I had to; it's an uncontrollable urge. I'm getting help.

Suddenly, the Slip remembers she has a large sack of 50,000 gp under the table. Moments later you hear a peal of thunder as a lightning bolt strikes the thief out of nowhere. As her smoking, now lifeless body slumps to the table, you begin dividing up the gold. Everybody level up! Roll your own hit points. Not so fast, Rik...

You're right, it's not just badams... ;)

In all seriousness, I apologize for the delay. I've been wasting time checking out Pathfinder when I should have been attending to our game. I'll get us back up and running this weekend.

Please, don't rush. But I do like all the Rik abuse here, so let's keep that going, okay?

Well, the DM in my in-person 5e game wants to switch to PF 2e. A few years ago I bought the first edition PF Beginner Box, which my kids really like (by which I mean the pawns and the grid). I have PDFs of both 1e & 2e Core Rulebooks, Beginner Boxes and Bestiaries. Trying to figure out whether to blow money on more PDFs--big sale right now--or pick up some dead tree copies of stuff I have in PDF, and if so in what edition?

And none of this is getting us any closer to the Caverns of Quasqueton! Alas...

And by bestiaries, I mean the first bestiary for both first and second edition. I didn't go completely crazy and by bestaries 1-6.

Well, not yet.

All in good fun. When I saw the notification in my Gmail, I thought, "Well, Steve, in about 15 seconds or so you're going to be looking at a picture of a skeleton." And I wasn't disappointed.
