Slip

Slip nods at Fauk & Tor and heads to the ornately carved door once again. Though she found no traps before, she searches the door again for traps just to make sure. She mumbles to herself, "... hate intricate doors, so easy to hide traps."

She turns to Tor, "I searched it twice, seems safe, no locking mechanism, so you're up big-guy." The Scout slips out of Tor's way and to the 'end of the line' of her companions.

Scout, Tinkerer, and Cartographer
+ Arrows = 20
+ HP: 5
+ AC: 5
Target priority: imminent danger (self or companion), then the target most injured.
When possible, Slip will always try to retrieve previously fired arrows.

Bert - Priest

"Yes indeed! That door looks like the place to go!"

Bert keeps watch as the door is checked and then opened.

Tor opens the door to the north.

The torchlight reflects off of the floor, which appears to be highly polished terrazzo. There seems to be a design that you cannot make out in the dim light.

At the edge of your light you can see two great chairs on a raised stone platform or dais. The court is flanked on each side by a set of four large stone pillars which supports a ceiling that cannot be seen in the torchlight.

You hear a shuffling sound in the room, although the hard surface seems to echo so you cannot tell quite where it is coming from...

Fauk pulls out a flask of oil and mentions to Slip (or whomever is carry the torch), "Be ready to light this oil if needed."

Trebbelous, boy wizard and torchbearer, looks at Fauk with horror! What? While your holding it? Why you’d burn, Mr. Fauk.

She asked Tor to open the door while she maneuvered to the back of the line to in front of, or behind Bert (iirc where Bert was standing). She's too squishy to be barging into doorways!

Bert - Priestly Dude

Hearing the shuffling from within Bert says "Do be careful, fellas, somethings in there" As the others block his way from entering, he'll keep guarding the rear until there's a chance for him to move into the room (assuming the others do as well) If the party enters the room, he follows.

Fauk says, "I'm not so sure we should enter the room. Would we fare better by guarding the door until we know what numbers are against us?"
