Bert exhales loudly, and with a smile he says "Our prayers are answered. But she needs some rest, we should find a safe spot to set up a cold camp until we can get her back on her feet. Do we go out, and past those mouthy gibberers or stay in here?"

You carry Slip out of the room and down the corridor towards the entrance. The door is closed ahead and you push it open and exit the dungeon. You smell the sweet… no wait, that air isn’t sweet. Nor is it fresh. It smells like a nearby farm has recently fertilized fields. :sick:

You set up camp. Any particular watch order?

Bert will help set up camp and see to it that Slip is given a quiet rest area. "I think we should keep a close eye on the path, just in case someone is keeping an eye on US. I'll take first watch if no one else wants to."

Whatever watch he is tasked with, he'll spend some time praying and making sure everyone (including Slip) is okay and getting rested for tomorrow's anticipated trip back inside.

Fauk shrugs off his armor and rolls up in his bedroll, keeping his greatsword at hand. "Wake me for 2nd watch, holy man." The warrior is soon softly snoring.

The night passes without incident.

When you wake in the morning to the sounds of birds chirping and the smell of freshly spread night soil, Slip wakes with you. Her sleep was dreamless and she nary moved a muscle.

When you head back in the next day, you pass the alcoves before you get to the magic mouths and notice a door that is propped open where there wasn’t one before. Very possibly where the northmen guards came from.

Actions?

Fauk says, "Let's explore!" and moves towards the door. He'll be ready with his sword and take a look through the doorway. If it is dark, he'll wait for Bert to illuminate the area.

A well slept and refreshed Slip agrees! She attempts to hide in shadows and move silently, and brings up the back-end behind the party.
