Slip
Image

Slip acknowledges her companions plans, and then vanishes into the darkness.
She attempts to hide in the shadows and maneuver for a back-strike.

Scout, Tinkerer, and Cartographer
+ Arrows = 20
+ HP: 5
+ AC: 5
Target priority: imminent danger (self or companion), then the target most injured.
When possible, Slip will always try to retrieve previously fired arrows.

Tor thinks for a moment, then sheathes his great sword and takes out his crossbow. He readies a quarrel, hoping to fire one surprise shot before charging into melee next round.

I considered the contradiction, but decided to check Tor's character sheet to see if he had any other weapons, and voila! A crossbow begging to see some action. For the sake of verisimilitude, I can say that Tor instinctively switches to his crossbow, if you like. On the other hand, Tor is a barbarian. What does he care what you like! :D

Surprise attack on Trogs

Slip slips into the darkness for a surprise attack.

Tor fires a quarrel (d20+1=15, HIT, dmg 5) dropping one of the trogs.

Bert races for the far entrance, which distracts the surprised troglodyte remaining who says "hey..." as the cleric flies past.
Fauk barrels straight at the smelly foe (d20+2=21, HIT, dmg 2) wounding him grievously.
Slip attempts a backstab (d20+4=24, CRIT, dmg=6x2x2=24) which results in something like a finishing move in Mortal Kombat.

Trebb starts to do something and then realizes that, well, at this point, why?

Bad guys all dead.

Actions?

Fauk 8/9
Slip 5/5
Tor 9/9
Bert 3/6
Trebb 4/4

Bert - Sprinting Priest

Bert glances back, surprised at the brief time it took to dispatch the smelly lizards. He continues toward the other passage, peeking around it and listening to see if anyone has noticed our arrival or is coming to meet us.

Fauk looks around, a little disappointed that they're all dead.
