Secretly glad that nothing bad has befallen his comrades, Badobus grumbles "okay, okay, let's go down, shall we? My belly is growling, and I can almost feel some food awaiting us below."
He stands watch as the group decides on the direction of travel. Anything other than downward only manages to draw groans and grumbles from the surly dwarf.

I'll give John the weekend to post (if he wants), and then by Sunday evening/Monday I'll have a new thread created for our next chapter.
