Doug, I can't find anything banning mulit-classes but if it's a problem I'm happy to drop a class.
Nope, it's good! Don't forget you get max HP to start. Also, not mentioned before, but I generally allow MUs to memorize read magic automatically each day, it does not count against your spells. I'll roll for your "gifted" scroll, and don't forget the Holmes scroll creation rules are in effect, if the party has extra coin when they get back it might be worth "investing" it in a scroll or two.

I did indeed forget about the scroll rules! I've jiggled my inventory so I can afford something to make Jolly Old Schmandta's job a little easier.

Here's JIngle again. If I've messed anything up let me know. If not, I'll pop him in the Complete thread.

Oh, also, Jingle has a -1 HP modifier, so 3 is their max HP.

Looks good, @jimbo. In addition to the scroll he made, he has a scroll of hold portal.

And a reminder you can't cast a spell from memory until a spell is prepared, which takes a full round, but preparing can be done in advance (see house rules).

Coolio. I'll drop 'em over on finished characters.

I present to you Mobert Muggins. My rando generator did me a solid on this one. A halfling fighter with max stats of 12. Glorious! He's from some weird off-shoot of hobbit kind (if Doug allows it) and is essentially a french bulldog in ringmail.

Sure, here's Salty Coleman. Dirty halflgling pick pocket (dont' know why I'm getting all the hobbit love today. It's usually elves). He's a bit posher than Mo and can afford silk rope. He's short and fuzzy. Can we keep him?

Sure, whichever one you want. Both, even.
