Berthod says, I wonder if those arrows are magic. I wouldn’t mind trying them out.

The potion, on the other hand, should be investigated further. Anyone have a clue as to what it says?

He squints to see if he can at least recognize the language family based on the lettering.

Bonner hands over the arrows to Berthold and offers the potion to the Holy & Learned Schmidt.

Schmidt or Berthod can easily read the inscription on the vial, written in common: "Pox's Philtre of Fire Breath".

Is Berthod keeping all of the arrows? The first time you use them will reveal if they are magical or not and what bonus, if any.

Actions?

Berthold says, I met a tavern keeper who sold fire water, or so he said. Made from grains he’d cooked, I think. Didn’t look anything like this though.

Who wants to carry it?

I say we head south, cross that hallway and check out the door at the end of the passage.

Anyone want to split the arrows?

Being the only non-fighter, Schmidt can hold onto the (hopefully correctly named) potion, unless we want a front liner to have it for the nuclear option that it sounds like it is :)

"I can keep the philtre safe with my holy symbols," Holy Schmidt offers.
Holy Schmidt He swears by his pretty floral bonnet...

Cedric is not keen on imbibing anything to do with fire.

Bonner agrees with Berthold's plan to head South & offers to take point again.

OK w/ going South. And, yes, Bel'xor would very much like to split the arrows.

You form up and head south (Wennic with lantern and Bel'xor in front, if that is changing let me know). You hear nothing beyond the door and it opens easily to reveal a 30'x40' room with a door opposite and a door to the east.

The room is lit by a lantern hanging next to the opposite door, and next to that, in front of the door, is a large man in plate armor (FM on the map), leaning on a two-handed sword. He doesn't seem surprised to see you, and says "Another group eh? Come in, come in."
