It's terrible when Taco Bell puts too much salt in my ogre zombie burrito.

Cedric hopes that zombogre doesn't come back to haunt him like Taco Bell!

"You stupid ogre! Why don't you just hurry up and die again already!"

Cedric tries to lop off the creatures head with his bastard sword!

You surround the Ogre zombie... Heimer and Schmidt manage to wound it some more while Salty sneaks behind the Ogre and ends the creature's un-life with a well-placed dagger.

Status:
The zombie ogre is dead dead!

Actions?

+-----------+---------+
|Name |HP |
+-----------+---------+
|Salty |5/5 |
+-----------+---------+
|Schmidt |14/14 |
+-----------+---------+
|Cedric |10/13 |
+-----------+---------+
|Berthod |12/13 |
+-----------+---------+
|Suspos |5/5 |
+-----------+---------+
|Heimer |6/6 |

Mechanics:

Round 1:

Berthod vs. ogre: d20+2=9 MISS
[Salty will be in position to backstab next round]
Ogre vs. who? d6=5 Berthod: d20+4=17 MISS
Heimer vs. ogre: d20+1=19 HIT for d6+1=4 dmg
Schmidt vs. ogre d20=16 HIT for d8=6 dmg

Nice job Salty, congratulates Berthold. Now let’s check out this trap door…

Berthold opens the trap door, hoping he has backup.

Salty snaps off a salute, cleans his blade on the ogre & heads to the hatch and gives it a listen.

Berthold pulls on the rings, and with some effort and noise is able to lift the trap door. Beneath it is a 3-foot wide hole in the floor. Your torches show a rusted iron ladder that descends about 20 feet. It appears that it drops down to a natural cavern floor, and Salty can hear water dripping and maybe even the faint sound of an underground stream. The air below is damp.

Actions?

Also, let me know what you are doing with the large leather sack. It is very bulky, so carrying it while you explore would slow that person down.

Here’s a way to avoid our friend guarding the way downstairs, says Berthold.

Let’s go through the sack. If we can easily divide the contents we wish to keep we can do that. Otherwise it’s back to town and drinks all around.
