Yes, not much is different from the last time you were here. The blood trail is still there, perhaps a bit dryer or darker from age.

Holy Schmidt keeps his head on a swivel, looking at the ceiling and two wide open passageways out of the dungeon's foyer here, while the others check out the door.

Bonner grips his spear, grumbling to himself as he eyes the stonework for any funny business, keeping an ear out for any sound of unwanted company.

Berthold places his ear to the door but hears nothing.

Cedric moves to the SE corner of the room (near the south statues). He stays quiet, listening for any sound of approaching enemy.
His shield is readied as well as his handaxe. He'll throw that first then draw his bastard sword to engage any foe.

Room enough for Wennic to hold his shield over the door to block the several holes over the ring, while Bel'xor pulls the ring to attempt to open the door?

The holes are a few inches above the ring, and you think you could place the edge of your shield on the door just above the ring and still pull it.
