Re: Chapter 3: The Abandoned Lab
OCC: East is good, let's clear it out. I don't want anything nasty sneaking up behind me!
Re: Chapter 3: The Abandoned Lab
And so the party moves through the eastern corridor. After 12 m it turns southward, and Albin and Dahl scout ahead while the rest follow at a safe distance, cautiously watching their backs. The featureless hallway runs south for 21 m and then turns right (west). According to Memphisto's map, this passageway should connect to the T-intersection they passed on their way to the mosaics room, and verily: a junction can be seen up ahead.
Re: Chapter 3: The Abandoned Lab
"This seems familiar, to the right would be the room with the cristals. Have we been left and then right? This place is like a maze."
Re: Chapter 3: The Abandoned Lab
“It seems we have covered all areas of this floor. Do we want to descend those steps we found or go back out to the village, have the cloak and boots appraised, and come back with Memphisto with his full complement of spells—how long, anyway, would that be, my friend, a day, a week?”

Re: Chapter 3: The Abandoned Lab
Memphisto pats his side, "I have one scroll to aid us in if we are in a dire situation. If our party returns to the village, I shall be able to memorize the sleep spell I used on the cultists...after a nice supper, a cold tankard of beer, and a good pipe, of course."
"Let us retire for the day, there is nothing pressing us onward with haste. Is that not so?"

Van shrugs and says, "I defer to the majority. Both options have merit until something goes wrong."
Re: Chapter 3: The Abandoned Lab
“Then let us go back and return on the morrow.”

Memphisto says, "With the treasure we've gained, we shall be able to better arm ourselves."
